Beyond Osseointegration: Peri-implant Soft Tissue Solutions from Prevention to Intervention
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Analyze the anatomical architecture and biological behavior of periimplant soft tissues, with emphasis on their role in the long-term stability and aesthetics of implant-supported restorations.
Identify and interpret clinical indicators and underlying risk factors contributing to peri-implant soft tissue deficiencies and complications, including mucositis and peri-implantitis.
Critically evaluate surgical and non-surgical therapeutic modalities for the management of peri-implant soft tissue conditions, based on current evidence and clinical applicability.
Formulate individualized treatment plans by assessing the type, severity, and etiology of soft tissue deficiencies, incorporating both reconstructive and preventive strategies.
Demonstrate proficiency in fundamental surgical techniques for soft tissue augmentation around implants, as well as non-surgical protocols aimed at enhancing peri-implant mucosal health.
Integrate evidence-based maintenance protocols and preventive measures into daily clinical practice to optimize peri-implant soft tissue outcomes and minimize long-term complications.
