Prof. Aliaa Ibrahim Mahrous Ibrahim is a distinguished Egyptian academic in fixed prosthodontics and implant dentistry. After finishing her BDS (2003), M.Sc. (2009), and Ph.D. (2013) in Fixed Prosthodontics from Cairo University, she joined the faculty at Fayoum University, progressively rising from Demonstrator to full Professor by 2023 .
Over the years, Prof. Mahrous has held several leadership roles: she headed the Fixed Prosthodontics Department, led the Digital Dentistry (CAD/CAM) Unit at Fayoum (2014–2021), and serves as Vice Dean for Community Service & Environmental Affairs at Misr University for Science & Technology .She also teaches at MSA University and October University of Modern Sciences & Arts.
Her research spans implant-supported restorations, bond strength of dental materials, color stability, and the integration of additive manufacturing in prosthodontics—key contributions to both clinical and academic dentistry
