Dr. Alshaimaa Ahmed Shabaan Mohamed is Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Fayoum University, Egypt, with a prolific career spanning over two decades in academia, and research. the research field of interest include craniofacial trauma, bone regeneration, and dental implantology.
Dr. Shabaan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Medicine and Surgery (2002) and Master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2008) from Alexandria University, followed by a PhD from Cairo University (2012). Her academic trajectory includes leadership roles as Vice Dean for Community Services and Environmental Affairs (2023–present) and Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Fayoum University (2018–2023).
