Annan Elkassaby, BDS, MSc
Annan Elkassaby is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Dental Biomaterials at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. She is currently a PhD candidate in Dental Materials, with a primary research focus on zirconia ceramics and their clinical performance in restorative dentistry.
Her academic and research interests include the development, characterization, and long-term behavior of zirconia-based materials, with particular attention to their mechanical properties, translucency, and bonding strategies. Through her work, she aims to advance the understanding and application of high-performance ceramics in esthetic and functional dental restorations.
Dr. Elkassaby is actively involved in undergraduate education, collaborative research in the field of dental biomaterials.
