Dr. Nour graduated from Cairo University where he joined the Operative Dentistry Department in 1990. After completing his PhD in 1999 he moved to Ain-Shams University and initiated a gradual transformation towards adhesive dentistry. In 2005 as an Associate Professor he started sharing inl the Post-graduate programs  and finally in 2011 the department banned the use of amalgam with a shift towards esthetic and digital dentistry and special emphasis on preventive, holistic and minimally invasive treatment options.

He lectured all over Egypt and regional arab countries and held numerous workshops. He published around a 100 article, paper and thesis  mostly on minimally invasive solutions and color science. He is currently a Professor in the Operative Dentistry Department, Ain-Shams University and is the director for a number of graduate and postgraduate courses.
